I moved to Southern Illinois in June 1997, and began my Graduate studies in the Administration of Justice in August 1997 at SIUC. While a graduate student, I was a Graduate Assistant, Teaching Assistant, and Research Assistant. After receiving my Master’s degree in December 2000, I held numerous positions in Southern Illinois leading up to my current position with SIU Family Medicine Residency Program. I have been with the Residency Program since July 2013. I have also been the ATSU/KCOM Medical Student Coordinator since March 2015.
When not at work at the Residency Program, I work at home on my farm with my husband of 21 years and our children, and work on my music ministry. I love all sports, fishing, and spending time at the beach when possible. This is my first term on the Council, and I am looking forward to serving my fellow co-workers in this capacity.
